Music City Sisters host art exhibit
OutCentral event promotes queer artists in the South

This month Music City Sisters are hosting Alphabet Art: A Juried Exhibition of Queer Artists, an event that will display artwork expressing queer sensibilities and recognize GLBT artists. According to organizers, this type of exhibit is not currently available in middle Tennessee or across the most of the United States. The only current independently staged Queer Artist exhibitions are conducted in New York and San Francisco.

The opening reception for this exhibit will be held at OutCentral on Friday, Sept. 10 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
