website and streaming videos of himself while in uniform at the fire department. Administrators are currently investigating the on-duty internet activities of the 19-year veteran.

A man who was communicating with Piercy through webcam submitted a complaint to fire officials. The two men made contact on Camfuze, an adult website where people share explicit pictures of each other and talk via webcam.

A screenshot of the site showed Piercey had been a member since November 2009 and featured a photo of him in his captain's quarters at the fire department.

Administrators confirmed that it was Piercey on the site and confronted him. Records show he admitted to visiting the site with his personal laptop while at work and talking to the man who sent the message---with the subject line "Government waste"---to department officials.

At this time, the department's computer technicians have not found any evidence that he broadcast obscene videos of himself. The investigation is in its early stages and Piercey has been barred from visiting the website while on duty or at the fire station.
