Advertising Sales Executive
Out & About Newspaper, Tennessee's largest gay and lesbian print and online publication, is looking for an experienced sales person to serve as an Advertising Sales Executive.
You’ll be in close contact with our current clients ensuring their total satisfaction while also using your superior networking skills to bring in new advertisers; make an instant commission on inherited accounts and the sky’s the limit for earning potential on new accounts.
This is a commission-based job with a healthy bonus for those individuals who meet monthly sales quotas.
You will report directly to the sales manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to become active in the GLBT community and make some great money this summer.

Production artist(s)
If you are a graphics production person with publication design experience and skilled on a Mac-based system, we want to talk to you! Duties include assistance with publication and ad layout. Must be skilled with Quark and PhotoShop. Use your creative skills AND build your portfolio. This position may be eligible for college internship credit!!
Memphis, Knoxville, Tri-Cities or Nashville News Writer, Photojournalist or Videographer
Reporting to the managing editor, these writers and visual artists will focus on general news coverage in the Nashville GLBT community. The managing editor and or editorial staff will make story assignments. A background in news writing is helpful. Focused and fair reporting is necessary. One to two stories per month will be expected with a story length of 300 to 500 words. This position may be eligible for college internship credit!!
