OutCentral hosted Dennis Shepard, father of the late Matthew Shepard, at a community reception held Jan. 25. Shepard was visiting Nashville to speak about youth bullying and anti-GLBT legislation in Tennessee.

Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville
The Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville has unveiled the theme and line-up for its 22nd annual show – “Collective Color” – celebrating the return of color to the design world. The event is the largest of its kind in the country and will bring together internationally-renowned designers, authors, lecturers and exhibitors at the Nashville Convention Center Feb. 10-12.
Nashville GLBT Chamber of Commerce Holiday Party
The Beveled Edge acted as host for the Nashville GLBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLBTCC) annual membership meeting and holiday party Thursday, Dec. 8. Attendees enjoyed tasty treats and libations and experienced a wide assortment of treasures housed at The Beveled Edge, a custom framing and gift shop located in West Nashville.
The Queer Queens of Comedy, featuring Nashville's Barb Neligan, performed at Zanie's on Jan. 23. HRC is the official sponsor of the tour, and a portion of the proceeds benefited HRC Nashville.
